Big company is looking for HSE Safety Officer
Report anomalies and inform about any incidents occurred on working site.
Perform, in a regular basis, Safety & Health inspections as part of TEPR HSE policy, Site Standing Instructions and RF regulations.
Check and Verify that all machineries and equipment have been inspected prior to be mobilized on site (valid logbooks).
Perform weekly inspection of site temporary equipments, ensure compliance with Site standing instruction
Verify all workers certificates according TEPR policy, Site Standing Instructions and RF regulations.
Perform inspection of OSR kits and ensure that they are full equipped with all required sorbent materials and tools to be used in case of Oil spillages.
Participate in meetings no limited to Toolbox / weekly/ monthly, regarding safety issues in order to increase the safety awareness of the TEPR and contractors working on sites.
Ensure that jobs involving work at height are performed safely, by checking prior to start, scaffolds and anti fall equipment (collective and individual / life lines, safety harnesses…).
Ensure that all works are performed without any risk for surrounding areas.
Ensure that all precautions are implemented for people working in confined spaces (permanent ventilation by fans, permanent O2 measurements, safety watcher…).
Ensure that all necessary gas check is performed if it is indicated as Safety precautions on the PtW form.
Ensure that all necessary inhibitions, process/mechanical/ electrical isolation are in place if it is indicated on PTW
Ensure the proper follow up / inspection of all H2S Escape masks, Portable Gas detectors, Gas Beacons.
Supervise and monitoring lifting operations carry out and ensure that all lifting gears and equipment have been correctly inspected, certified and color coded before start any lifting /offloading
Perform scaffoldings inspections, and validate if built as per TEPR rules.
Ensure that all Gas cylinders storage areas remote pads are properly defined and are in compliance with TEPR HSE policy, Site Standing Instructions and RF regulations.
Inform to Maintenance department of any disability of the fire and gas detection system on remote pads.
Participate as Fire & Rescue Team member – squad leader during emergencies exercises or real emergencies on remote pads.
Perform and participate in emergency drills, exercises and alarm testing.
CONTEXT AND ENVIRONMENT
Maintaining of established procedures and specialized technical standards is required.
All work activities are spot checked and inspected at job completion.
Able to do moderate physical efforts, walking and climbing.
kill as a driver in arctic conditions is desirable.
PROFILE/ QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRE
Strong autonomy is required.
Good communication and team spirit skills are needed.
Good knowledge of RF environmental regulation.
>3 years experience in environment management on site in the oil and gas industry or similar.
Good spoken and written English mandatory.
Driving skills and Driving license is mandatory. Strong autonomy is required.
