Assignment title: HVAC ENGINEER - DRILLING SYSTEMS MARINER PROJECT
Contract Period: Start: 01.02.2013 End: 31.01.2015
Assignment description:
Project description:
The Mariner Project is a heavy oil field development on the UK continental shelf. The concept consist of a large PDQ platform (Process, Drilling and Living Quarter), topside weight approx. 31 000 ton, a jacket substructure, a ship shaped FSU for storage and offloading and infield pipelines and cables. Gas for power generation and a light oil for dilution of the heavy oil will be imported. A new operation centre will be established in Aberdeen.
If hired personnel – Knowledge of UK regulations and requirements is desired.
Work description:
Follow-up of EPC drilling contractor with respect to HVAC and sanitary systems:
- overall system responsibility
- control of interfaces towards PULQ
- follow up of HVAC equipment procurement
Competence requirements:
• Extensive knowledge about HVAC for drilling systems
• Experience with follow-up of engineering/construction contractors
• Co-operational and communication abilities
• Structured, systematic and target driven with well-defined goals
• Multi discipline understanding
• High HSE and ethical standards
• Ability to handle high work load
• Mobile
Language requirements (if essential for the work): English
Rotation: No
Workplace: Onshore/ UK/NORWAY/ASIA DEPENDANT ON ENG. CONTRACTOR SITE
Normal Working Hours: 7.5 a day and 5 days per week
