Responsibilities: • Providing flexible and professional management of all Telecommunications and IT systems and to ensure high quality and stable communications for the Company in all its locations.
• Ensuring information security and an adequate level of IT and communications services
• Developing an IT&T strategy in line with the general strategic purposes of the Company
• Developing and proposing activity plans and IT&T budget to meet the business requirements
• Managing the IT&T Department to ensure it delivers the IT&T service to meet Company business requirements.
• Analysing Company requirements and developing an IT & Telecomms strategy in line with the Corporate business strategy
• Ensuring maximum uptime and reliability of all IT and Telecomms systems.
• Managing the development, installation and maintenance of the IT & Telecomms systems including, but not limited to, telecomms, radio, and computer networks establishing and maintaining policies, procedures and guidelines (including network user access, security and backup of data)
• Arrange appropriate training and development programmes for subordinate personnel for increase of knowledge and qualification.
• Constantly increase own qualification and improve skills necessary to carry out assigned duties according to the current Job Description.
Requirements
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in managerial role in IT
• Fluent English is a must
• Experience in dealing with hardware & software suppliers and service providers.
• Solid knowledge of MS Windows networking, Microsoft Office and other software and applications
• Experience with radios, telephones and satellite communications systems, voice and data.
• Ability to make well-reasoned, professional management decisions concerning business issues.
• Good oral and written communication skills. Must be able to communicate effectively at all levels with various operational units and with a variety of nationalities.
