Our client, a foreign company - one of the leaders in oil & gas industry, is looking for Instrument Supervisor. Activities:
- Follow up and verify all documentations proposed by the Contractor.
- Ensure the storing and confidentiality of the documentation.
- Participate to the reception of equipment
- Ensures that all activities supervised are performed with the proper degree of safety and environment protection.
- Ensures that all activities supervised are performed in respect of Contract, purchase order, change order terms and conditions.
- Follow Up and Verify compliance with technical specifications, drawings and procedures.
- Follow Up, verify and report the progress and schedule.
- Manage construction (all) interfaces with others: contractors, operations etc ...
- Provide necessary input and participate in clarifications, negotiations etc ...
- Anticipate potential problems. Analyse and propose corrective actions.
- Make necessary arbitration between different disciplines, the only criteria being the benefit of the overall project.
- Supervise the preparation of the pre-commissioning and commissioning activities (organisation, procedures…).
- Promote the reporting of incidents and anomalies
- Assist or issue in due time all reporting (daily, weekly, monthly, final report …)
- Participates in meeting related to the area of responsibility.
- Contribute to audits of Contractors or Sub-Contractors in co-operation with the QA/QC department.
- Liaise and support Vendor / Contractor representative for site survey and work visits.
- Maintain good relationships with Contractors, being flexible enough but also strict when necessary to achieve the objectives of the Project.
Requirements:
- Education/ Work experience in instrumentation: high professional education (technical) with work experience not less than 5 years as Instrument supervisor.
- Good technical background should include design and equipment utilization in instrumentation.
- Competencies: communication, negotiation etc…
- Fluent in English (speaking and writing). French would be an advantage.
- Good communication skills, able to work in a multicultural environment.
- Deep knowledge of Russian norms would be a must.
Conditions: rotational basis, work on day & night shifts, mobilization:january 2011, duration: till 31/07/2011.
