Position Purpose
• Development and implementation of the short term activity plan; • Presentation of the IAP (Integrated Activity Plan); • Physically mapping the activities across the entire field; • Reviewing the risk levels of all activities; • Coordination with department/area focal points to resolve short term activity clashes; • Through subordinates executes compliance checks of the agreed activities plan across the field; • Implement a transparent and rigorous change control procedure to control and authorize changes to the agreed IAP’s based on short term, medium and long term activity; • Lead activity safety reviews on proposed changes to LTDS and High level activity plans to verify or not there will be impact at the operating sites.
Function
• Single point accountability for the planning and coordination of all in-field activities through having full support of the Field Manager; • Development of the 10 day look-ahead IAP Integrated Activity Plan; • Physically mapping from the Field Coordination Facility the activities across the entire field to enable to easily identify potentially conflicting and potentially hazardous conditions; • Management of the change control process based on short term medium and long term activity planning plans to ensure and proposed changes are adequately risk assessed; • Presentation of the IAP Integrated Activity Plan at the daily activity planning meeting to the Field Manager, Field Activity Coordinators and the Operations Permit Coordinator to review next day’s plan to enable potential conflicts and enable early intervention; • Through the Field Activity Coordinators: o Execute compliance checks of the agreed activities plan; o Ensure physical checks and ensure risk assessments and worksite supervision levels to minimum agreed levels; o Have the power to intervene and stop work until the minimum standards agreed are re-established; • Develop effective working interfaces and credibility with all key players and customers of the Integrated Activity Planning Process; • Able to document the Integrated Activity Planning Process; • Development of Risk Assessments; • Development of plans using SPD planning tools; • Knowledge of the Permit to Work systems; • Accept personal accountability to drive continuous improvement through effective influencing, appropriate challenge, overcoming resistance and resolving conflict; • In depth grasp of the operating environment and the ability to generate a robust sense of reality.
Requirements
• Higher Diploma or equivalent in an Engineering discipline; • Proven experience in Planning and understanding of the key oil and gas industry department processes of Production & Maintenance Operations, HSE, Well Engineering , Well Services and Construction; • Good spoken and written knowledge of the English language; • Good general computer skills and knowledge of the Microsoft suit of software (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project etc);
