EDUCATION (LEVEL): Higher linguistic education
EDUCATION (MAJOR): English Language / Translation and Interpretation
LANGUAGES: Russian (native) English (fluent)
MAIN DUTIES, SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE, EXPERTISE, SKILLS:
- Translation of documents from English to Russian and from Russian to English
- Interpretation from Russian into English and from English into Russian at top management meetings, including simultaneous interpretation.
- Editing English and Russian texts drafted by the Company staff.
- Experience of translation and interpretation in the area of oil and gas exploration and production is desirable.
- Good typing skills in both English and Russian.
- Excellent computer user skills, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook; skills of using TRADOS are a plus.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE: Translation and interpretation to/from Russian/English (5 years minimum).
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
The applicant shall demonstrate good organizational skills, accuracy, punctuality, strict adherence to established standards. Must be a fast learner and team player. Must not be limited on ‘technical’ translation only. Interest in other areas (politics, project management, investment management, etc.) is a plus.
