Position: IT Manager
Position to report: Finance Division Director
Activities:
• Develop and set up an Information System and Telecommunications (IT) strategy in compliance with the overall E&P objectives and adapt it locally by covering all technical aspects and services provided in accordance with business expectations (Professional Disciplines and users). Take care of the overall consistency of the information system architecture;
• Advise and provide top quality service, end users oriented, and cost controlled (telecommunications, networks, systems, applications SIE, SIG, SIP, methods, quality….);
• Analyse situations and propose technological developments, within the framework of expertise;
• Facilitate information systems evolution, by supporting modularity and easy maintenance, by promoting the most standard solutions, in order to curb the total cost of the information systems for the company;
• Promote opportunities where IT can provide an added value or improve the effectiveness of the business;
• Define the right balance to maintain between internal and external expertise, in line with business needs, in a constantly and rapidly moving technical context, and remaining consistent with the IT discipline and the entity. Define the policy of on-line sourcing in line with business needs;
• Guarantee the security of data and information systems;
• Prepare technical guides for information systems and telecoms;
• Formalize the description of the information systems field (processes, software, data flow, infrastructures);
• Define, present and follow-up IT budgets ; analyze and optimize the cost of IT services;
• Work out and follow up the proper indicators and technical management reports for the information system activity at E&P headquarters and affiliate;
• Verify that the IT Charter and best practices are well known and abide by employees;
• Prepare and coordinate evolution of IT within TEPR, as well as evolution of IT employees.
Qualifications / experience required
• University degree in a specialized IT subject;
• Professional experience > 10-15 years, in IT, with > 2-5 years in Oil & Gas sector
• Good working level of English.
