Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot hardware, software and network operating system
Be familiar with all hardware and software
Be familiar with network operating system and strong networking troubleshooting skills
Provide orientation to new users of existing technology and products
Coach staff about new and potential uses
Provide recommendations about accessing information and support
Maintain current and accurate inventory of technology hardware, software and resources
Ensure that network is compliant with Group Policies, Standards and Guidelines
Ensure that network, servers, desktops and laptops are protected against viruses and other malicious attacks.
Ensure that Windows Updates is installed and applied to servers, desktops and laptops
Ensure that Group business applications are being cared for by upgrading, installing, maintenance
Ensure that backups are being made of business critical and non-business critical data including group applications
Other IT support to Moscow, Novorossiysk, Murmansk, Taman and Astrakhan offices
Maintenance of 1S accounting software and Lotus software
The overview / oversight of developments and implementations of software links / integrations between 1S
Accounting package and Group Applications to allow exchange of data between these systems
Knowledge:
Computer hardware and software systems and programs
Computer networks, network administration and network installation
Computer troubleshooting
Networking troubleshooting
Knowledge of switches, routers etc
Server Operating Systems (Server 2003, Server 2008, Server 2012)
Client Operating Systems (Windows XP, Windows Visa, Windows 7, Windows 8)
Computer viruses and security
E-mail and internet programs and understanding
VMWare knowledge (Advantageous)
