JOB DESCRIPTION
POSITION
IT Support Engineer
SCOPE
Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support for Russian users, prepare new equipment (desktops and laptops) for new users and for replacement, follow IT procedures and company standarts. Provide extended IT support for specific business tools and applications. Participate in local/country IT projects.
In this role IT Support Engineer reports directly and functionally to IT manager Russia.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
General
• 1st and 2nd line IT support for users in Russia.
Direct responsibility
• Installation desktops and laptops for new users and for replacement;
• Local assistance in IT equipment maintenance;
• Provide extended IT support for specific business tools and applications;
• Support audio/video conferencing service for all offices in Russia;
• Participate in local/country IT projects.
RELATIONSHIPS AND AUTHORITY
Reports to: IT manager Russia
Competence Profile
• At least two years of professional experience in IT area in multinational organization;
• Intermediate English;
• Good communication skills (both Russian and English);
• Ability to fast learning;
• Readiness for shifted time table;
• Experience in Lotus Notes configuration and troubleshooting;
• Wide experience in Microsoft Office2003-2010 troubleshooting;
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Windows XP, Windows 7;
• Good knowledge of network infrastructure;
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory;
• Experience with Cisco/Avaya audio/video equipment;
• Knowledge of VPN technology;
• Experience in mobile devices (BlackBerry, iPhone, etc.) configuration and troubleshooting;
• Experience with helpdesk software;
• Basic knowledge of ITIL (as a plus).
