Basic Functions • Manage the day to day running of SPI (INtools) for all projects, within the SEIC Assets.
Principle Responsibilities • To maintain all the SPI (INtools) databases and ensuring compliance with Clients SPI standards. • To provide daily support to the Instrument discipline and to action SPI (INtools) queries in a timely manner. • To provide and develop department procedures, standards, specifications for all activities within the SPI (INtools) environment. • To provide training in all aspects of SPI (INtools) and to develop a training structure for Instrument personnel using SPI (INtools). • Improve working methods within the SPI (INtools) environment and improve project drawing standards.
Mandatory Requirements • Must have some experience of Brownfield project execution using SPI (INtools), i.e. SPI Owner/Operator mode. • Must have some experience of working within all modules of SPI (INtools). • Must have some experience of data transfer management from SPI (INtools) to DCS/SIS system environment. • Must have a working knowledge of SQL; knowledge of MS SQL Server would be advantageous. • Support design office personnel with site specific data
Accountability • Ensures that team strictly operate within SEIC and PSNS safety regulations / standards • Understand the requirements of the design quality system and meticulously ensure that these requirements are met.
Candidates shall also have the following: • Experience within Upstream O&G industry, primarily with experience in brownfield modifications • Awareness of international standards; experience in SEIC and / or Shell Group project and standards (SPs / ERDs and DEPs) • Proven experience in AutoCAD, Microstation & Documentum. • Fluent spoken and written English. It is expected that candidates will have a minimum of two years experience as an INtools Designer and a mandatory 5 years experience within the Instrumentation discipline working on the design of oil and gas facilities.
