This position will be based in Moscow, Russia. The Lead Instrumentation and control engineer will be involved in a major Oil & Gas operator's project.
Activities:
• Responsible for leading a team of Engineers and Designers in performing Instrument Engineering and Design
• Ensure consistency in standardization of parts and equipment. Adhere to plant standards
• Have the skills to not only specify instrumentation, but be able to properly size and check sizing calculations for instrumentation including protective devices.
• Adopt and leverage Performance Materials and Technologies Engineering Standards. Maintain or support any site specific requirements or standard.
• Ensure consistency in standardization of parts and equipment.
• Establish relationships with key suppliers to support plant requirements and introduce new products.
• Owner or participant in the development and revisions of Instrumentation and Control Standard Operating Procedures.
• Ensure QA/QC requirements are met for capital installations
• Be able to work with the process team in order to develop P&ID (Piping and Instrument Diagrams) and control schemes.
• Develop/support instrumentation/control system cost estimates, scheduling and man power loading activities.
• Manage the execution of the instrumentation aspects of a project through engineering/design and construction

Qualifications and Experience required:
Graduate engineer with minimum 15 years experience in the energy industry.
Fluent in English (speaking and writing)
Fluent Russian is mandatory.
Good communication skills, able to work in a multicultural environment.
