Lead Mechanical Engineer (m/f)
to join our team for natural gas supply chain solutions covering gas treatment, liquefaction, LNG storage and distribution, LNG/CNG stations and engine conversion to natural gas.
Work Activities
 Lead mechanical design team in the execution of studies, technology selections, basic and detail engineering works.
 Develop design tools, guidelines, specific procedures and standards.
 Prepare lists of engineering deliverables and man-hour requirements for each task.
 Prepare cost estimates for proposed designs in the bidding process.
 Perform calculations and prepare design documents, lists, data sheets, drawings and other engineering deliverables for static and rotating mechanical equipment using state-of-the art tools.
 Squad check of documents from other disciplines as part of inter-discipline Quality Assurance/Quality Control exercise.
 Monitor and control technical quality and progress of design team’s and equipment supplier’s output.
 Control and maintain project schedule and progress.
 Coordinate closely with specialists from other disciplines and with customer specialists.
 Provide construction assistance.
 Participate in and lead meetings with customers, suppliers, team members and other project participants.
Profile
 Mechanical engineering degree or equivalent.
 Minimum 5 years of professional experience.
 Extensive knowledge in mechanical engineering of vessels, columns, pumps, compressors and skids using state-of-the-art software tools, and material selection aspects. Experience with cryogenic equipment is a plus.
 Familiar with suppliers and subcontractors, and with inspection and commissioning.
 Knowledge of industry / regulatory codes and standards such as GOST, ASME, API, ANSI, and environmental regulations.
 Sound knowledge of engineering interfaces and of construction and HSE requirements.
 Experience with managing technical discussions with third parties such as customers, licensors, suppliers and regulators.
 Good verbal and written communication skills in Russian and English language.
