Position
Lead Reservoir Engineer
Function
• Corporate Forecasting Focal Point
• Develop new set of Corporate Forecasting Tools using an IPSM (integrated Production System Modeling) type of solution
• Generate production/injection forecasts and/or integrate production forecasts of other engineers into one corporate forecast. Presentation to Management & shareholders, justification of production targets
• Reserves estimation. This will use a mix of analytical and 3D simulation methods
• Coordination of Reserves Reporting Process across the company (quarterly and annually).
• Hydrocarbon Maturation Focal Point
• Carry-out technical work to justify investment in new projects
• Maintain overview of the SPD resource portfolio and coordinate overall reporting
Requirements
• More then 7 years of experience in hydrodynamic modelling in oil&gas industry
• Upper-intermediate level of English
Skills in:
• build and maintain 3D Dynamic reservoir models, good knowledge of Eclipse software
• well testing analysis using KAPPA (Pressure Fall-Off in Injectors/ Pressure Build-up), Interference Test
• production & injection forecasting
• Basic Reservoir Engineering skills applied to water-flood (SCAL, PVT, Sweep efficiency monitoring, Hall plots, etc.)
• The analytical work will be based on a mix of traditional petroleum engineering skills as well 3D Dynamic Simulation. The required skills are:
