We are looking for a Lead Offshore Structural Engineer for Doha, Qatar.
Main Tasks:
- Analysis, Design and detailing of steel and RC structures
- Run structural analysis for platform modification
- Preparation of Design Basis Report & Technical Specification
- Participating in Design Review and Progress Review meeting with Client
- Preparation of Deliverable list & Schedule, Man-hour estimate, Resource requirement and Progress report
- Providing input to Project Planning Engineer to prepare project schedule
- Coordination with various other departments for Civil Input Data
- Design of topside structures
- Design of jacket structures
- Inplace analysis, fatigue analysis, seismic analysis, push over analysis
- Linear and non-linear FE analysis
- Preparation of project documentation
- Standardization of Design Procedures
- Preparation of Check list and Design Guidelines
- Cost and quantity for pre-bid engineering
- Project management
- Manage a team of Structural Engineer and Designers
· Minimize number of quality errors
· Minimize number of client complains
· Client satisfaction

Necessary education: Bachelor of Engineering or MSc in Civil and Structural or equivalent degree from recognised university

Competences and experience:
Well familiar with International codes and standards, materials, specifications, calculations and datasheets

Have good knowledge of SACS (more than 4 years), Staad-pro, AutoCAD, Microstation, MS office

Must have min 10 yrs of experience (minimum 5 yrs of experience in Offshore Structures).

- Location: Doha, Qatar (Main office)
- Type of contract: permanent position with (30 days paid of vacation per year)
