Responsibilities:
• Ensuring the electrical systems are designed to meet the required Russian norms and Standards, ensuring any gaps are identified and analysed and solutions identified.
• Checking the engineering documents developed by the Contractor, and timely give comments and/or approval, in accordance with the Project procedures and requirements.
• Ensuring COMPANY design specifications and standards are applied and not conflicting.
• Participating in discipline meetings with the Contractor. Participate as required to specific ad hoc meetings.
• Participating in Technical Reviews as appropriate (Hazop, PTR, …).
• Ensuring CFT documents are of required quality and flag any deviation to LDE for resolution
• Assisting commissioning and start up team when in Detailed engineering and start up phase
• Supervizing contracts for critical items and power generation package are prepared and executed in order to meet the overall projects requirements.
• Reviewing and analyzing technical documents prepared by contractors, sub-contractors and suppliers in order to ensure compliance to all technical requirements affecting the discipline, report deviations.
Requirements:
• Chartered Engineer or similar education level.
• 5 to 10 years experience in his domain specific domain.
• Experience in large projects and power generation units, and in very High Voltage.
• Good knowledge of English, Knowledge of Russian Language considered an advantage
• Knowledge of project development in Russia and methods used to submit dossier to state expertise, permitting process, technical approval, Russian Federation norms and standards, restricted equipment design when Russian content maximised,…are all either an advantage or to progressively acknowledge and incorporate
• Good knowledge of the gas industry
• International experience
• English (fluent).
