Big oil& gas company is looking for Logistic Coordinator.
Job Summary:
Identify logistical requirements for supply chain and support of operations in the field. Carry out a detailed research of infrastructure in remote regions from the perspective of logistics and supply. Go on scouting trips with the purpose of infrastructure study. Prepare reports on the subject.
Be involved in and contribute to development of feasible and cost-efficient logistical solutions for remote oilfields.
Plan, acquire and deliver logistical resources required for field operations including land, air and river transport, storage and general support to the project. Ensure the logistics services are provided in an efficient and safe manner
Work with contracted companies - Identify potential suppliers of logistics services, assess their technical capability to meet project’s challenge; control the existing logistics providers in their daily work; strive to implement processes and achieve performance improvement
Work out realistic schedules for creation of supply chains in the region. Work with the parties involved on meeting the deadlines. Ensure the contracts for logistics services are timely in place. Expedite service/materials delivery
Supervise field operations of the logistics services providers where necessary. Ensure compliance with HSSE requirements in logistical operations.
Liaise with central and regional authorities for required permits and licences. Support/advise the providers with licencing and permits if needed
Control costs ,identify and propose savings initiatives where possible
Ensure all the work is completed in accordance with the company standards and requirements as well as the local legislation.
Education and Experience:
Higher Education or a University Diploma
Project Logistics or Oil and Gas Logistics
8 months contract
