Big oil&gas company is looking for Maintenance Advisor in Qatar
1. Act as a technical expert within the department and resolve complex technical issues with significant potential impact on business results 2. Provide technical advice and influence stakeholders, regulators and contractors on related issues 3. Lead various technical projects and investigations within an area of specialization 4. Provide technical leadership to internal and external teams 5. Implement technical strategies in support of the department and group’s objectives 6. Plan, control and contribute high level technical projects within an area of specialization 7. Ensure practices are aligned with accepted industry standards and best practices and are also consistent with statutory, regulatory and corporate guidelines 8. Provide recommendations and advice to the department manager 9. Assist in the recruitment of technical staff within the area of specialization 10. Lead major system development and continuous improvement initiatives within the area of specialisation 11. Represent the related department or group on internal or external working groups and committees 12. Prepare and present key reports to the Department or Group Manager, committees and working groups, and external organisations, as required 13. Conceptualize important situations/issues in the context of RasGas keeping in view the inter-relationships of other internal or external parties
Knowledge and Experience 1. Degree in the respective area of specialization, from an accredited university 2. Advanced knowledge within the area of specialization 3. Fluent in English language verbal and written 4. Computer literate 5. Over 15 years experience
