Responsibilities: Provide engineering experience, expertise and leadership to Workover and Well logging Departments Draw up full Well Workover/Well logging plans Obtaining approvals and permits to work with all state/non-state institutes Lead as a senior team member with a strong commitment to HSE. Daily engineering and troubleshooting support to Workover/Well logging Operations Training and mentoring of local and junior staff engineers Liaise with Client with regards to all needs aligned with short and long term Rig/Well scheduling and planning Prepare, conduct and represent Workover at meetings Provide technical and engineering support to Workover/Well logging Operations site staff Offer recommendations for operational improvements plus implementing optimization and efficiency opportunities Requirements:
Bachelor/Master degree in Petroleum Engineering or equivalent Technical Degree Not less than 10 years of relevant experience Vast experience in oil/gas field development/rehabilitation projects, with extensive experience in staff or contract roles with International Operator (minimum 10 years) Experience with land rig Workover Operations including scheduling and planning Good communication and mentoring skills to be commensurate with the above job role Well logging skills Strong English language skills required Demonstrate knowledge of the oil industry Strong team player and mentor Aptitude to innovate and open to new ideas.
