Currently we are looking for a mechanic who would like to join our company. As a mechanic you will:
- clean, inspect, repair and test Services equipment and customers’ equipment in compliance with established quality assurance procedures to detect damage or wear, ensuring that worn or damaged parts are repaired or replaced according to specifications;
- maintain maintenance records of Service Center’s HT&P equipment, ensuring records are current and complete;
- orders necessary spare parts;
- control customer equipment maintenance;
- make sure the planning of orders preparation is respected;
- solve technical issues related to the preparation of orders;
- ensure the equipment is available on time and finds any other option if necessary (in agreement with the Application Engineer) and that the information is transmitted internally;
- store tapping, plugging and related equipment, testing equipment and tools, ensuring availability of equipment as required;
- if needed, perform all shipping and receiving functions, including job setup, proper packaging of HT&P equipment according to transportation mode, loading equipment for shipment and scheduling ship dates, prepare all shipping documentation and tool repair documentation.
Requirements:
- high school degree in mechanics or equivalent, combined with experience in a similar job;
- working knowledge of hydraulic equipment, such as pumps, motors, control valves, etc.;
- able to read blueprints;
- team spirit, ability to work autonomously and sense of urgency;
- good communication & organization skills;
- basic knowledge in Windows (Word, Excel, Access);
- requires heavy (25 kgs maximum) lifting, you will have to travel extensively on this position to the client's location.
