This position is based in Russia. The Mechanical Field Engineer will be involved in a major power-generations company.
Activities:
• Is the primary liaison with Home Office Design Engineering and is responsible for project Construction activities;
• Establish, review and maintain Field Engineering section of Construction Execution Plan for the project;
• Construction input to Design, Scopes of Work and Project Schedule;
• Receipt, control and distribution of Technical Documents at site (including vendor information);
• Interpretation of drawings and specifications to assist Contractors and Company personnel;
• Resolution of site Technical Queries;
• Logging and resolution of Concession Requests;
• Initiation and maintenance of technical logs;
• Receipt of As Built information from Contractors and transfer to Home Office Engineering as required;
• Providing technical assistance and liaison services to QA/QC and Superintendents;
• Providing technical input to and assistance in defining Handover Systems and procedure;
• Assistance to Site Project Manager as required.

Qualifications and Experience required:
Graduate engineer with minimum 7 years experience in the energy and/or oil and gas industry.
Experience of work with turbines
Fluent in English (speaking and writing)
Fluent Russian is mandatory.
Good communication skills, able to work in a multicultural environment.
