Assignment title: MECHANICAL LEAD HEIDRUN FUTURE DEVELOPMENT PROJECT

Project description:
The Heidrun Future Development Project is in the concept selection phase. The project will define and engineer six different concepts that will be compared and evaluated.
The concepts consist of a new main process system for treating of two gas new gas fields and one new oil field including separation, dehydration and compression to export pipeline condition. A low salinity water treatment plant for EOR in the Heidrun reservoir is an additional concept that is evaluated. In total six different concepts will be evaluated and documented prior to selection of concept for FEED study.
The Heidrun platform has capacity for installing about 7500 tonnes of new equipment modules. The new gas and oil fields are operated by three third party oil companies. Alignment with Heidrun operational organisation shall be maintained.
The main tasks are:
• Be a lead engineer for the mechanical technology issues within the Heidrun future development project
• To follow up the mechanical discipline related activities in order to obtain an optimized and safe solution based on the company’s values, philosophies and requirements
• Identify authority requirements and technical requirements relevant to the deliverables
• Gather experience for the technology to be utilised – in-house as well as external experience covering design, manufacturing, installation, commissioning and operation
• Identify risks, critical areas and critical activities and be proactive in proposing mitigating actions when needed
• Actively challenge and enhance the process system design from well to market
• Be proactive with identifying and evaluations of technologies and components that could be of interest for the project – within mechanical and process technology
• Implement installation and operational friendly design in the project trough participation in HAZOP and HAZID and mechanical handling reviews, 3Dmodel reviews involving mechanical equipment
• Plan for and perform examinations and reviews of contractors and manufacturers of significant mechanical equipment as well as study contractors
• For contracts, establish input to scope of work, the TORG documents and contribute actively to the preparation of the complete contract.
• Take on responsibilities as Company representative or Technical coordinator for relevant study contracts
• Proactive liaison with project internal and external stakeholders, provide input to- and review project documentation prepared by other disciplines and stakeholders
• Ensure documented quality of own deliverables (IDC)
• Contribute to base organisation by e.g. attending discipline meetings, as well as risk identification sessions and review of ITT documents for other projects as requested
• The Discipline Representative shall be in a continuous dialog with the discipline network and anchor the decisions with the applicable leading advisors
• Perform necessary technology assessment and technology qualification process as required
Competence requirements:
• B.Sc. / M.Sc. Long relevant experience may compensate for less formal education.
• Proven experience within all phases of a project execution including early phase evaluations, engineering, construction and completion operations and troubleshooting
• Understanding the company’s management system, capital value process and technical requirements and being able to challenge the requirements
• Good communication skills to be able to establish multidiscipline alignment on tasks involving mechanical equipment and operational issues
• High focus on HSE, ethics
• Structural, systematic and target driven with well-defined goals
• Ability to handle responsibility and periodically high workloads
