Mechanical & Piping Field Engineer Activities:
• Review and digest the detail design
• Verify the deliverables related to Mechanical & Piping
• Coordinate and supervise Mechanical & Piping studies for the Central Process Facilities, associated drilling Pads
• Check that the design is developed in line with the Pre-Project and the Statement of Requirements
• Ensure coordination of Mechanical & Piping activities with the other Specialists within the project team. Ensure global consistency of the design
• Follow-up Contractor(s) activities. Control and comment all Mechanical & Piping documentation issued by contractor(s) related to engineering, procurement, project management, fabrication and tests, and check that they are as per Company specifications and rules. Review and answer to the Engineering Queries and Requests for Waiver
• Call for and participate to necessary technical and/or co-ordination meetings required to achieve the performance of the work. Participate to internal and external interface meetings
• Participate to Technical Reviews/Audits (HAZID, HAZOP, PTR). Ensure follow-up and implementation of outcome
• Liaise with the operating team to collect necessary data for the project
• Manage technical interfaces related to Mechanical & Piping between EPC Contracts, LLI’s, etc.
• Verify that the Contractor(s) are administrating properly the Company Long Lead Items
• Participate in weekly and monthly progress meetings
• Provide input to the Field project Engineering for Mechanical & Piping progress reporting (data, narrative, etc.), highlight critical problems and propose corrective actions
• Ensure and liaise with his field project engineer and design authorship
Qualifications/Experience Required:
• Graduate engineer with minimum 10 years experience in the oil industry as Mechanical & Piping engineer (upstream)
• Fluent in English (speaking and writing)
• Good communication skills, ability to work in a multicultural environment
• Experimented user for AutoCad and good knowledge for 3D model software
