MMSC Site Manager(s)
Job Description • Directed by SEIC to execute the operational aspects of implementing maintenance and services, shutdown and minor modifications work tasks in an effective and efficient manner. This is to achieve optimum performance & continuous improvement of these activities
• Functional reporting to the MMSC Operations Manager
• Operational interfaces with the MMSC Modifications / Shutdown Manager
• Responsible to train SNGS site staff, coaches and mentors the Deputy Site Manager and prepare him for his future role as Site Manager.
• Understanding and serving of Client(s) needs
• Reporting through maintenance management systems regarding needs and work progress
• Reports to the SNGS Operation Manager and in his absence to the MMSC Manager
• Attend with his key personnel the daily morning conference calls chaired by the MMSC Manager or Operations Manager.
• Communicates with SNGS Operations Manager and MMSC Manager on all scope of work issues and any issues with a cost or schedule impact.
• Achieve safety standards as defined in this Role and responsibility profile.
• Ensure legislative Russian Federation and SNGS policy compliance at all times
• Ensure implementation of the Company Safety Management System
• Effective performance of maintenance in accordance with SEIC/SNGS Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality systems
• Functional responsible for all work performed by SNGS personnel.
• Provide input to adjust the 5 year plan and drives optimization throughout the site organization.
• Spent at least 30 percent of his time daily at site to monitor and control the quality of work performed by SNGS personnel and SNGS subcontractors, with support of his management team and Foremen.
• Leading by example.
• Delivery of modification scopes in line with SEIC planning schedules.
• MMSC shutdown coordinator in conjunction with SEIC
• Be prepared to react to non-routine emergency requirements such as failures, breakdowns, and repairs and be prepared to enhance training and competencies, as applicable, to ensure a continuous professional service to the client at all times.
• Controls and directs SNGS site personnel on day to day priorities
• Responsible for assessing effectiveness of working practices and systems with a view to continuously improving systems, personal and team performance within MMSC
• Responsible for behavior and discipline of all MMSC personnel and sub contractors.
• Look at initiatives at site to ensure MMSC adds value
• Deliver on MMSC commitments in line with agreed program.
• Assist in Shutdown planning and scheduling, Shutdown execution and coordinates with the Shutdown/Modification Manager
• Communicates all personnel issues directly with the Admin /HR Manager and avoid unnecessary exposure for SNGS
• Provides Scopes of Work or RFQ input to the Procurement and Contracts group who are responsible for all communications with a commercial impact related to P&C,and awards of PO’s and contracts.
• Responsibilities: Assists and prepares and issues estimates/proposals to the SNGS Operations and MMSC Manager for review and approvals.
• Assists in modification coordination, interfaces, Planning Scheduling and execution and reports during Shutdowns to the SNGS Modification/Shutdown Manager
• Assures that the execution of the work will be performed conform the Contract Execution Plans and PPM Procedures.
• Assures that all work processes are followed and SNGS Sites are auditable.
HSE Expectations
• Provide proactive and visible HSE leadership to all MMSC staff under his functional and operational responsibility through language, behavior and actions
• Supervises the LNG HSES Safety Manager related to all LNG HSES activities only.
• Promote and encourage team safety performance through work site visits
• Promote and encourage environmental improvement initiatives in line with both company and SEIC expectations.
• Demonstrate commitment to safety and Provide quality coaching and mentoring to subordinates in appropriate safety leadership behavior
• Ensure SNGS Tool Box meetings are held and periodically attend them
• Lead and support SEIC/MMSC safety plans, policies and procedures
General
• Encourages innovation and lateral learning with other assets in the best interest of the business
• Proactively involved in all planning, organizational and procedural requirements to demonstrate SNGS Site Teams readiness to transition from SEIC Supervised maintenance to an SNGS supervised maintenance organization in line with the Business Plan
• Assist in the evaluation, planning, staffing and operation of SNGS managed fabrication shops
• Assist in the evaluation of fabrication shops of potential subcontractors in case there is a need to fabricate work prior to completion of SNGS managed fabrication shops in place.
• Actively participate in planning and execution of Asset manning requirements
• Ensure parent company managing competency (CORA) levels for personnel in line with contract requirements
• Actively participate in Asset-team improvement groups
• Demonstrate exemplary HSE behavior, be a role model
• Carry out emergency response duties where necessary
• Recruiting/training plan for all on-site employees in liaison with Quality Manager, HR Manager and Training Manager to ensure required personnel certification/qualification
• Assures internal and external communications are made SEIC/SNGS agreed “Communication Protocol”.
• Performance evaluation of his direct reports.
• Enhances “Teamwork”
Skills
Prior Experience as Maintenance Manager, Construction Manager or OIM.
Good communications skills, ability to present topics via power point presentations to management and client. Good skills in SAP or equivalent. Good “peoples management skills”, Good knowledge of project controls, estimating requirements. Patience and ability to train, coach and mentor Russian staff. Result driven and a “team” player.
Needs to be able to perform hands on management. (Leading by Example).
