Position: MWD/LWD Field Engineer
Location: Australasia
M/LWD Personnel services description:
•Takes the lead to ensure that expected and needed data, including possible problems, are provided to the customer.
•Takes the lead to provide technical consultation to all of clients. These areas include mud hydraulics, BHA planning, pore pressure analysis, formation evaluation, drilling tendencies, the mud system, and BHA dynamics.
•Ensures the proper testing of all tools and equipment before, during, and after each job.
•Ensures the accuracy and completeness of all required forms, data bases (service vouchers, lost/damaged equipment, radiation site survey etc).
•Ensures that BHA's are assembled as planned including correct make-up torque, doping and handling.
•Leads the effort to interface with the DD to ensure BHA compatibility, planned operating parameters are within specification and correct tool face references are applied.
•Fosters teamwork among all personnel involved in the performance of the service.
•Additional job role responsibilities include the following:
Safety
Promotes safety awareness and complies with all applicable safety procedures and regulations.
Completes training and assessments.
Requirements:
Experience:
• Experience with triple/quad combo;
• Past offshore experience;
• Working with radiation sources;
Qualifications:
• HSE certificates according to the position.
• Fluent English.
Conditions:
• Rotation work with competitive day rate on contract basis
