Job Description
He/She is responsible for managing the supervision of planning, coordination, configuration, installation, and management of networks (local- and wide-area) and related client services within the enterprise to meet business requirements. Designs and implements network architectures, including LANs and WANs, LAN internetworking, and LAN-to-WAN connections. Responsible for establishment of systems and standards that ensure uniform quality , performance and efficiency of systems and environments.
Has key responsibility for the study, the implementation of systems and practices for identification and resolution of hardware and software technical problems and malfunctions of LANs and WANs, and related servers. Makes decisions that are critical in the areas of Monitoring Systems, Security Systems, including Firewall, Antivirus, Antispam technologies and Auditing Methodologies, throughput analysis, problem solving, and infrastructure planning, Business Continuity related technologies and plans, Migration and Upgrading strategies with the potential to affect the successful execution of business transactions. Proactively researches and locates necessary tools and processes to identify and proactively avert troublesome trends as they develop. Participates in various IT projects intended to continually improve/upgrade the Agip infrastructure. Have hands on knowledge of the management of people networks and systems. Propose and evaluate strategies for integration with external partners and systems
