Responsibilities:
Assist Manager of the QA/QC Department, day to day operations ensuring team work, high performance standards and targets are met. Lead and facilitate the development of corporate QA/QC policies to support the company’s QA/QC management system.
• Existence and awareness of a suitable and relevant QA/QC policy. • Liaison as necessary with other organizations and relevant authorities, and assistance and cooperation concerning audits and remedial actions. • Promote and publicize the company’s dedication to QA/QC to clients, external groups, and with in organization. • Carry out inspections to ensure compliance with the QA/QC standards and keep records of all inspections, tests etc. • Attend QA/QC meetings and reviews. • Maintaining records of calibration, inspection and testing equipment. • Conduct and attend appropriate regular refresher trainings for the project QA/QC personnel. • Prepare and update the standard Project Quality Plan (PQP). • Customize the project specific PQP. • Review the QA/QC procedures to meet corporate and projects specific requirements. • Ensure that customer complaints regarding QA/QC are being logged and proper preventive and corrective actions are being taken within due date. • To facilitate the project site team in resolving technical issues related to QA & QC. • To prepare, review and provide customized QA/QC documents to proposal department. • To update the status of Corrective Action Reports (CAR’s) and Preventative Action Reports (PAR’s) for all project sites. • To assist project QA/QC team for all technical queries. • To update and maintain all the required standards and codes, required to execute the different ongoing projects. • To prepare and update the entire standard Quality Inspection Procedures (QIP’s) for various disciplines. • All HSE hazards to be identified and risks assessed with proper mitigation measures during project execution. • Ensure incorporation of safety measures in all method statements related to QC. • The position of QA/QC Manager will have a key role and authority with in the QA/QC department. • QA & QC system compliance at projects - 100% • Internal Audit Plan compliance - 100% • Development of QA/QC system - 100% • Training of project QA/QC personnel - 100% • No CARs during external Inspection Management Survey (IMS)/client audit and take corrective action with agreed target date.
Required Skills / Certificates
• Graduate Engineer. • Computer literate – in particular MS Office. • Total Experience: 08 years of working in QA/QC with minimum of 5 years in Oil & Gas EPCC projects • Familiarity with OHSAS 18000, OSHA, ISO 14000, QMS ISO 9001, ISO 22000. • Knowledge of Construction codes and standards. • Initiative. • Communication skills. • Experience in the management of a team; with motivational skills, effective performance management and the ability to delegate. • Detail-oriented professional with strong analytical & problem solving skills • Excellent communication skills • Good spoken and written English.
