Report to the Quality Manager, and support him in all quality control and assurance activities, listed below:
General:
• Familiarize with project documentation and applicable supporting documentation related to the scope of work
• Ensure the work is carried out to the applicable codes and standards
• Ensure all work is carried out to Project HSE requirements
• Carry out continuous quality surveillance on all the sub-contractors mechanical activities
• Ensure work is performed as per approved ITP’s / Method Statements / working procedures
• Ensure quality reports are reviewed daily as per ITP
• Ensure all drawings / documents are latest revision and so implemented
• Ensure welding equipment, consumables, base metals, WPS are in accordance with project specification
• Ensure welder performance such as welder performance qualifications, welder qualification, request welder requalification as applicable
• Ensure all materials are checked and verified by incoming control
• Ensure Sub Contractor logbooks are up to date daily
Inspection:
• Perform visual inspection
• Verify procedure / method statement compliance
• Review examination results
• NDT planning (before, during after welding as required)
• Review inspection reports and results
• Verify implementation of NDT procedures and methods
• Report investigation results and disputes
Quality Assurance:
• Support the Quality manager with audits and surveillance
• Report all non-conformities, Inspection Reports , Corrective Action to QM
• Follow to closure of NCR, CAR, FIR
• Help with quality toolbox talks
