Duties: •Provide transport cost and man-hours estimation. •Define methods and means of Transportation in agreement with Project Procurement Manager. •Plan Transit Time for all equipment and materials to match Project schedule. •Plans and revises shipping strategy. •Plans and supervises handling operations for “special items”. •Prepares and issues specifications to be included in Invitation to Bid for Suppliers and Forwarding Agent. •Prepares and issues Invitation to Bid, Negotiation documents and Service Order. •Monitors man-hours budget in relation to Project completion. •Updates and issues Transportation Cost Progress Report and summary. •Contacts Suppliers and coordinates pick-up operations with them, on the basis of the loading/shipping plan for each shipment. •Revises the loading/shipping plan for each shipment. •Issues or coordinates the issue of import-export documentation, together with the Administration Department when necessary. •Check that Forwarding Agent transfers the necessary documentation (including certificate of origin) to the clearing agent abroad. •Expedite Supplier’s delivery documents (primarily bill of lading document).
Requirements (mandatory): •higher technical education; •6+ years of experience in shipping/logistics; •experience in international project companies; •fluent speaker of English (work in international team + learning program in Rome for 6 months); •ready to relocate within RF (6+ months each relocation, including Moscow ans SPb).
