Our client (EPC projects) is looking for Onshore Structure Engineer:
CANDIDATES MUST HAVE ELIGIBILITY TO WORK in RF and FLUENT RUSSIAN.
▪ Perform technical tasks assigned by the Civil and Structural Lead, related with design, verification and checking of all steel structures, in order to operate in compliance with assigned budget, time schedule and quality standards
▪ Ensure the interfaces with the other Discipline Specialists and coordinate activities performed inside or outside the Compan
The Engineer executes the activities within his area of responsibility, ensuring the compliance with the QA/QC and HSE requirements
Tasks include:
A-Development Technology know how and Commercial support
▪ Provide technical support
B-Feasibility
▪ Provide technical support
C-Bidding phase/Commercial proposal development
▪ Analyse and understand Tender documentation
▪ Define list of activities and deliverables, coordinate activities in accordance with Project schedule
▪ Identify technical queries, deviations and alternatives to be submitted
▪ Implement the bidding methodologies, the design criterias and guidelines
▪ Prepare tender document for steelworks market survey
▪ Prepare material quantities and weights (MTOs) estimation
D-Project Execution (Job progress and completion)
▪ Ensure the assigned goals achievement and the fulfillment of the project quality and contractual requirements. Take the necessary corrective actions together with the Discipline Lead to meet the assigned goals
▪ Define list of activities and deliverables related to steelworks, set up with the Dicipline Lead the time schedule, coordinate activities in accordance with contractual requirements (including 3D activities)
▪ Prepare specification for purchase of steelworks material, providing technical support to procurement department in defining delivery lots during project execution
▪ Prepare detailed BOQ for steelworks in accordance with Company procedure and maintain updated MTOs in order to prevent and/or mitigate quantity escalation
▪ Prepare documentation for technical annexes for engineering activities subcontracting
▪ Develop studies for strucyures configuration including details to be implemented
▪ Ensure proper quality checks of all discipline project documents executed inside or outside the company, including Vendors documents
▪ Track and report to Discipline Lead the scope of work changes updating manhour and cost estimates
▪ Provide technical support to Project functions including Procurement and Construction
▪ Support Discipline Lead in technical interface with Client
▪ Prepare together with Discipline Lead Technical Bid Evaluations
▪ Ensure follow-up of steelwork manufacturer activities, approving shop drawings and monitoring delivery schedule in accordance with project needs
▪ Provide technical support for the definition of the discipline construction inspection plan
▪ Prepare with Discipline Lead Vendor inspection test plan and support post order activities E-Construction and start up
▪ Provide support field engineering at site
▪ Prepare modification drawings / instructions to be executed at site including punch list item clearing
Knowledge of tools related to 2D and 3D modelling activities
Knowledge of Discipline engineering design criterias, methods and workflows from conceptual
phase up to site engineering phase. Capability to define the technical documents set based on
Project quantities and scope of work. Capability to perform and coordinate Project engineering
documents production activities and to check and review design documents, prepared either
internally or by Vendors Capability to estimate Discipline Work Orders and
Bid Projects engineering manhours budget based on the Project quantities and scope of work
according to Corporate standards, procedures, methods and tools. Capability to estimate
Discipline items costs budget based on Project quantities and technical requirements according to Corporate standards, procedures, methods and tools. Capability to monitor the relevant actvity progress and the actual manhours spent vs the earned progress
