Our client (EPC projects) is looking for Piping Designer (4 positions opened):
CANDIDATES MUST HAVE ELIGIBILITY TO WORK in RF and FLUENT RUSSIAN.
▪ Manage on a project a team of Piping and Layout Draftsmen in order to carry out the Piping and Layout part of the installations, 3D CAD model and the Piping and Layout construction drawings in accordance with technical, budget and schedule targets, under responsibility of the project Piping and layout leader or piping engineers
Execute the activities within own area of responsibility, ensuring the compliance with the QA/QC and HSE requirements
Tasks include:
A - Development Technology know how and Commercial support
B - Feasibility
C - Bidding phase/Commercial proposal development
D - Project Execution
▪ Design, execute or check the typical Piping and Layout studies including:
- 3D modelling
- 3D model review with other disciplines and issue of clash check report
- Construction or design drawings using 2D software or extracted from 3D for piping networks (overall plot plan, equipment
layout drawings, piping general arrangement, piping isometrics and piping supports)
- Bill of materials or material take off
- Extraction of bill of materials and other information from the 3D CAD model
▪ Organize the work of his team and follow-up the planning of the resources mobilisation
▪ Co-ordinate the work of his team with the Piping and Layout engineers of the project
▪ Check the input data and all the documents and information issued by his team
▪ Check permanently that all the assumptions upon which his team work is based keep up with the project development and
warn the project Piping and Layout Lead of any detected anomaly
▪ Supervise documents updating after comments issued by other disciplines (inter-discipline checks) or external stakeholders
(Client, Yards, Third party review, etc.)
▪ Feed the Piping and Layout Department improvement system by reverting the lessons learned during the project
E - Construction and start up
▪ Material Management at site
▪ Engineering support during construction phase
Knowledge of tools related to 2D and 3D modelling activities
Capability to develop equipment layout according to process requiremets defined on PFD or P and
D and in accordance to the engineering good practices: developing the single line structure to
ay the piping distribution and the equipment elevation
Knowledge of Discipline engineering design criterias, methods and workflows from conceptual
phase up to site engineering phase. Capability to define the technical documents set based on
Project quantities and scope of work. Capability to perform and coordinate Project engineering
documents production activities and to check and review design documents, prepared either
nternally or by Vendors
Fluent Russian, English (Fluent - disirable, intermediate is possible).
Office location: Universitet metro station (corporate transport form Kievskaya metro station).
