WE ARE LOOKING FOR CONSULTANS WHO CAN MEET THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS:
COMPETENCE:
- Experience from engineering within the drilling module and multi discipline understanding is preferable.
- Knowledge of the Oil & Gas standards, regulations and requirements in general
- B.Sc. in Engineering (or equivalent)
- PDMS, Microstation, ProArc, SAP, STID, ProCoSys
- knowledge of PDMS(design/spooler), and PDMS work instructions
- knowledge of requirements of pipe design, layout and material handling
- knowledge about fabrication requirements, isometric production
- Strong written communication skills are necessary for drafting fabrication and construction
specifications in a piping engineer role.
ASSIGNMENT DESCRIPTION:
- Detail engineering on existing and new piping within the drilling module
- Weight- and cost estimate
- 3D-modeling on existing and new constructions
- Isometric pipe drawing production and checking
- On-/offshore surveys
- Work descriptions and evaluate installation methods
- Package management
- Installation and commissioning support
A piping engineer’s chief responsibility is to create drawings of how piping systems should work and what materials make up the pipes.
