Oil& gas company is looking for Planning and Cost Control Engineer.
Responsibilities:
Review and digest the scope of work and contractual documents. Ensure that Company’s reference documents are understood and applied (directives, rules, specifications, guidelines). To coordinate package reports (“tableau de bord”, monthly reports, weekly reports (if necessary) and other specific reports). To provide support in actions related to project communication, ensuring consistency of presentations and managing information release requests from contractors. Monitor Engineering and Procurement contractors: Review progress, analyse delays and propose corrective actions to respect targets, control Participate actively in change Order and contractual negotiation for man-hours, cost, planning definition To review and analyse contractors’ scheduling and planning documents (procedures, reports, etc). To monitor the progress of project activities. To organise cost report and follow-up tables for engineering, procurement and construction in order to provide relevant information for Project Controls cost control budget updates (Budget definition, PDC,...) Monitor cost variation and provide highlights in case of overrun and carry-over To elaborate a management-type plan, levels 0&1. To verify milestone and organise implementation of milestones registers in Engineering, Procurement and Construction activity. To identify and analyse potential delays and propose corrective actions. To verify the critical and sub critical path. Provide support to the call for tender preparation and evaluation (planning, manhours, histograms, workload, cost comparison analysis), Technical evaluation, recommendation to Award for any purchase or works execution contract. To provide a continuous and timely flow of information Call for and participate to any necessary co-ordination meetings required to organise properly cost Provide to the Package Manager, all relevant information needed for Project reporting, highlight critical problems and propose corrective actions
Experience required:
Job holder shall have a minimum background of 5 years mainly in engineering and if possible as well in construction for the oil and gas industry including experiences in several disciplines or coordination of these disciplines Good communication skills, able to work in a multicultural environment Used to drive a team and able to take proper actions to respect targets Fluent in English / Fluent in Russian would be a plus Knowledge of Excel, MS Project.
