Scientific Drilling Controls Ltd is currently looking to recruit a Field Engineer to join our newly established team based in Russia. The main aim of the position is to act as liaison between Company and customer at rig locations to ensure the effective promotion of the Company’s activities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and perform rigsite operations both onshore and offshore
* Follow company policy and customer requirements
* Coordinate job procedures with customer representative
* Organise equipment assembly and rig up
* Obtain log/survey data and check validity
* Distribute data as required
* Supervise rig down
* Perform troubleshooting of equipment
* Engage and verify customer requirements
* Perform other relevant duties as requested/required by management
Requirements:
* Confident written and spoken English
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Degree level education, preferably in an Oil & Gas Engineering related discipline
(e.g. geology/geophysics; mechanical/chemical/electrical engineering; mathematics; chemistry; physics; etc)
* Willingness to work an ad hoc schedule and work in various Russian regions and abroad
* Previous experience of working for an International Company
* Russian citizenship
