Expat position
Location: Azerbaijan, Baku
Demands:
Bachelor Degree in IT-related field
4+ 6 years of practical industry experience using Primavera P6 software
Experience with integration efforts involving Primavera P6
Strong knowledge in respective P6 modules like Project Management, Methodology/Template Management, Web Access, Progress Reporter, Reporting/P6 Analytics, etc.
Must be self-motivated, outstanding problem solver, decision-maker with strong communication skills
Be able to work abroad (Azerbaijan, Baku)
Responsibilities:
-Provide expert knowledge of Primavera and related systems/tools to ensure fit-for-purpose configuration and Region capability development
-Support the Regional Systems and Tools team by providing the implementation expertise and technical leadership to drive consistent use of planning and scheduling tools in the Region
-Support the Regional Activity Planning team in implementing the AP Toolset Region-wide
-Evaluate regional impact of new systems and tools proposed for the planning/scheduling environment
-Support the continuous improvement of Activity Planning practices influenced by the toolset and interfaces
-Assist in the development of Primavera planning and scheduling capability in the region including one to one coaching and delivery of AP-specific Primavera training in the region.
-Work with the Segment P6 consultants to share good practices and evaluate options to continuously improve the AP toolset.
-Provide expert knowledge of Primavera and related systems/tools to ensure fit-for-purpose configuration
- Analyze data and system performance and define improvement actions
-Develop system administration capability within the region.
-Support the Regional Activity Planning team in implementing the AP Toolset Region-wide
-Provide Primavera expertise required during testing and implementation of Primavera, Maxavera and related tools
-Coach and support AP and other Region staff in the migration to Primavera
-Evaluate new systems and tools proposed for the planning/scheduling environment
-Assist in defining Primavera interfaces to region-specific software (logistics tools, etc.)
-Understand and advise on the impact of proposed Region-specific design changes to Primavera interfaces
-Support the evolution and improvement of Region-specific practices influenced by the toolset and interfaces
-Support the evolution and improvement of Region-specific practices influenced by the toolset and interfaces
-Develop documentation relating to the use of P6 Activity Planning environment and Region-specific practices
-Document Region-specific exceptions to Global design
-Assist in the development and delivery of AP-specific Primavera training materials, tailored as needed for the Region
