Process Engineer

Responsibilities:

* The job holder manages, under the responsibility of the Engineering Manager, all technical activities related to the Process during the Basic review & Detailed engineering phases, with particular attention paid to HSE matters;
* Review and digest the pre-project studies. Verify the basis of design;
* Coordinate and supervise Process studies for the Central Processing Facilities (process and utilities), storages, water injection facilities, oil & gas export facilities and pipes;
* Check that the design is developed in line with the Pre-Project and the Statement of Requirements;
* Ensure coordination of Process activities with the other Specialists within the project team. Ensure global consistency of the design;
* Control and comment the documents issued by contractor(s) and check that they are as per Company specifications and rules. Review and answer to the Engineering Queries and Requests For Waiver;
* Call for and participate to necessary technical and/or co-ordination meetings required to achieve the performance of the work;
* Follow-up Contractor(s) activities;
* Participate to Technical Reviews/Audits (HAZID, HAZOP, PTR …). Ensure follow-up and implementation;
* Participate to site visits as necessary;
* Participate in weekly and monthly progress meetings
* Provide input to the Engineering Manager for Project progress reporting (data, narrative …), outlines critical problems and proposes corrective actions.

Requirements:

* Graduate engineer with minimum 10 years experience in the oil industry of which 5 spent in a lead Process position (upstream);
* Fluent in English (speaking and writing);
* Ability to relocate to Europe..
