This position is based in Russia. The Production Lead will be involved in a major Oil & Gas operator’s project.
Activities:
• Report to the Project Field Operations Manager The job holder is leader of all Project activities related to Production, Commissioning and Start-up from Detailed Engineering to start-up, with close attention paid to HSE.
• Participate in HAZID, HAZOP, CTR etc…
• Issue Command/control of the facilities: procedures to follow for the start-up and shut-down of all or part of the facility, parameters to be monitored and actions to be undertaken in the event of malfunction or of scheduled / emergency shutdown
• Conceive and develop overall commissioning plan; Organise various commissioning preparation tasks: work repartition, priorities, and coordination of preparation team
• Prepare basic commissioning management procedures (punch list, hand over, internal organisation…)
• Be responsible for the overall safety of site commissioning activities
• Follow pre-commissioning activities through the trade construction superintendents
• Supervise the commissioning activities on site and in the construction yard
• Manage contractors and vendors on site (10 companies)
• Coordinate the pre-commissioning and commissioning activities between the different contracts.
• Analyse operational risks and associated impacts (cost, planning…) and propose mitigation/emergency/back-up measures
• Check progress against planning and recommend any necessary corrective actions
• Ensure hand over of sub-systems to Operations
• Production and Commissioning quality control procedures
• Ensure the satisfactory completion of all project activities related to pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up in time and paying particular attention to HSE issues.
• Handed-over facilities to the operating team with all documents, procedures, manuals required.

Qualifications and Experience required:
Minimum 15 years experience in the oil industry with field operations experiences, acid gas and commissioning experiences will be appreciated
Good in English (speaking and writing)
Fluent Russian is mandatory.
Team spirit, leadership, reactivity, good communication and motivation skills, able to work in a multicultural and extreme environment
