Position is open in a large international company, Moscow office with occasional travel required for project kick-off, drawing review and visits of construction site (Eastern Siberian region). Moscow residents are considered only.
Main responsibilities: • Review and digest the pre-project studies, basis of design, scope of work, and contractual documents. • Ensure that Company’s reference documents are understood and applied (directives, rules, and specifications). • Ensure that the design is developed in line with Company’s Requirements, the Contract itself, Western and Russian Codes/Standards. • Ensure optimisation of design in terms of costs, quality and delays related to the Project expected achievements. • Provide support to the call for tender preparation, Technical evaluation, recommendation to Award for any purchase or works execution contract. • Gather the information and technical data from facilities visiting the sites. Manage and control (technical, budget and schedule) engineering, procurement and construction during the Project execution in line with Company’s Referential, Russian norms and practices. • To implement contracting philosophy acceptable to management and which minimizes: company exposure, arguments and claims with contractors.
Main requirements:
• Education/ Work experience Pipeline Engineer I category: high professional education (technical) with work experience not less than 8 years as Pipeline Engineer. • Competencies: computer, communication, negotiation etc… • Good technical background. With career progression, technical background should include design and equipment utilization in pipeline facilities. • Fluent in English (speaking and writing).
