Our Client, a major oil & gas company, is currently looking for experienced professionals for the position of Project Approvals Assistant
The role:
• Report directly to the Project Approvals Manager
• Support the project to obtain all the required environmental and regulatory permitting, and approval of all health, emergency preparedness/ response plans.
• Assist the manager who leads the development and implementation of approval related deliverables in support of cost and schedule, in addition to managing related external interfaces.
Responsibilities and duties:
• Coordinates between the VCNG and the PMT.
• Interface with functional group as necessary to support project activities and identify and implements best practices and lessons learned.
• Assist with project resource staffing plans.
• Helps coordinate the development and submittal of, Regulatory Compliance Plan, TEOI and TEOC Environmental Management Plan, HSE Plan, and Emergency Response Plan)
• Assists with Coordinate interfaces with Government agencies and external stakeholders on project EIA and permitting issues.
• Interface and coordinate activities with VCNG approvals staff as appropriate.
• Provides supporting documentation, presentations to, Senior Management on project approvals issues.
• Coordinate and work with Public Affairs on developing public hearings and address Government agency, community and share holder concerns.
• Provide oversight, implementation and development of government relations/communications plans for the proposed project facilities.
• Provides guidance for safety, health, and emergency preparedness and response issues.
• Works with Approvals manager on implementing a Management of Change process related documents and deliverables.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCES
• Senior position requiring broad technical and regulatory skills and project management.
• 8+ years broad-based experience preferred, with prior experience in related disciplines
• Adaptability to changing priorities
• Ability to assess and act on project resource needs
• Proven regulatory experience in Russia /CIS area
• Good interpersonal and communication skills; persuasive with strong business perspective
