Project Contracts Manager Russia (PM)
Work location:

Responsibilities
• Deliver value improvements to CoB by developing and implementing regional CP strategies and implementing the regional component of global strategies Example: Project and Technology;
• Structure and manage contracts and agreements in a proactive manner with the objective of minimising claims and disputes;
• Manage Project Supplier relationships and negotiations including resolution of operational and supplier performance issues relating to the contracts to ensure delivery against the agreed milestones;
• Support project teams in the negotiation with contractors to achieve the mandated project objectives. Provide a strong commercial influence in the thinking and behaviour of the Project Team and other users of materials and/or services;
• Support project teams in the resolution of commercial and contractual issues with contractors including terms and conditions of contract in collaboration with legal, risk and insurance specialists;
• Business interface on a day-to-day basis with Project Team and other stakeholders and ensure local needs are met;
• Responsible for ensuring that contracts can be made operational effectively within the context of the standardized RtP process (GSAP);
• Explore and exploit cross-business leverage opportunities with other CoBs;
• As appropriate, conduct bids, on-line bids, negotiations and manage subsequent supplier performance;
• As required, model options for award strategies to optimize value including quality, commerciality, and timing/speed to market;
• Interact, align and maintain close productive relationships with Project Team and other business stakeholders;
• Responsible for the delivery of RtP KPI’S and compliance delivery for the Project Contracts;
• Responsible for ensuring that Category Strategies incorporate the requirements of the Global Master Data content strategy;
• Responsible for ensuring that key business and Downstream initiatives are implemented within the Project Contracts as they relate to CP’s Contractor Safety(including Green banding assessments), CPPM, GSAP, CARM, Sox, RtP Compliance etc;
• Ensuring Group Contract Management guidelines are followed, ensuring with the Contract(CO) Owners and Contract Holders(CH) that the Contract Performance Review Meetings are conducted in line with the agreed schedule;
• The PM Projects is responsible with the CO/CH to ensure Delivery of the agreed milestones, within the agreed timelines, at the agreed quality and cost;
• Proactive management of issues that place the delivery at risk is expected to be a key element of the role;
• All 3rd Party Spend related to the Construction, Commissioning and Start Up in readiness for Commercial Production in Q1 2012;
• One Main EPC Contract, 5 Major Contracts and all other Construction Related Contracts (~30).
Requirements
• Fluent English;
• Proven track record of execution excellence and delivering results via 3rd EPC Party Contractors against milestones;
• Significant commercial experience;
• Strong EPC Project Contract Management and Procurement experience with EPC Contractors in Russian Environment;
• Enthusiasm and team player with strong interpersonal skills;
• Tertiary Qualifications from recognised Professional Institute;
• Functional knowledge of CP tools, techniques and processes Skill;
• Results delivery Mastery;
• Interpersonal and communications skills with ability to influence motivate and tactfully challenge others;
• Customer focus;
• Mastery Financial analysis, market analysis;
