Position Project Coordinator \ Engineer
Accountabilities
• Project Coordinator/Engineer is responsible for ensuring that the project (and its extension) preparatory activities (engineering up to works preparation, as well as contracts and strategy) are performed in full compliance with company and local rules and in line with Project targets.
• Review and digest the pre-project studies, basis of design, scope of work, and contractual documents.
• Ensure that Company’s reference documents are understood and applied (directives, rules, and specifications).
• Ensure that the design is developed in line with TEPR Requirements, the Contract itself, Western and Russian Codes/Standards.
• Drive execution of engineering with coordination of engineer, review progress, analyse delays and implement corrective actions to respect targets, control and comment documentation issued by contractor(s) related to engineering, procurement, Project management, fabrication and tests, and check that they are as per Company specifications and rules. Review and answer to the Technical Queries and follow of waiver requests.
• Ensure optimisation of design in terms of costs, quality and delays related to the Project expected achievements.
• Provide support to the call for tender preparation, Technical evaluation, recommendation to Award for any purchase or works execution contract.
• Manage company team specialists for all these purposes. (Definition of priorities, daily follow-up of progress made, organisation of internal meetings to review status and proper exchange of the information, etc)
• Call for and participate to any necessary technical and/or co-ordination meetings required to achieve the performance of the work. Participate to internal and external interface meetings.
• Liaise with field operating team to collect necessary data for the project.
• Provide support to construction and commissioning activities related to EPSCC.
• Participate to site visits as necessary.
• Participate as required, in weekly and monthly progress meetings.
• Provide to the Package Manager, all relevant information needed for Project reporting, highlight critical problems and propose corrective actions.
Project features :
• Package 3 and its extension: civil preparation, structures, buildings and piping hook-up for wells, chemical, diesel and drain systems injection, ESP’s surface equipment on 3 remote (8 - 12 km) well pads;
• Budget of overall Project = 800 MUSD including 100 MUSD for Package 3 (and its extension)
Overview of the position:
• Coordination of Package 3 (P3) and its extension for Engineering, Procurement and works preparation, responsible for providing input from interfaces into P3 engineering design and reciprocally output from P3 into interfaces / peripheral activities.
• He/she shall drive the Engineering company and the disciplines ‘s specialists of the Package 3, as well as define targets and ensure follow-up with the other departments (procurement, logistics, contract, construction).
Requirements
• Job holder shall have a minimum background of 5 years mainly in engineering and if possible as well in construction for the oil and gas industry including experiences in several disciplines or coordination of these disciplines
• Good communication skills, able to work in a multicultural environment
• Used to drive a team and able to take proper actions to respect targets
• Fluent in English
• Knowledge of AUTOCAD.
