This position is based in Moscow, Russia. The Project Data Control Lead will be involved in a major Oil & Gas operator’s project.
Activities:
• To lead, implement, develop and define procedures for all aspects of Data Control within the Project
• Develop and deliver project data control procedures covering data validation and handover to Operations, based the Company specific data control delivery procedure.
• Prepare specifications for data (requirement, control, delivery) based on Company procedures and standards.
• Lead preparation and maintenance of the project reference data libraries/sets for each data-oriented application.
• Manage collection, integration, and validation of data from contractors and/or internal project stakeholders into central data repository.
• Prepare Data handover to Commissioning and Operations, or handover to next project phase.
• Prepare and issue data performance reports (status, progress and forecast).
• Manage services provided by offshore data support contractors (e.g. data scraping).

Qualifications and Experience required:
• Graduate engineer with minimum 6 years experience as Data architect with knowledge of data control processes and systems on Major Capital Projects, and of EPC interface management.
• Substantial experience in writing and manipulating databases (SQL).
• Breadth and depth of knowledge of cross-discipline engineering data (requirements and use) including: business data model of engineering, spare parts processes, Maintenance Management System build processes.
• Knowledge of engineering databases, tools and document management systems.
• Fluent in English (speaking and writing)
• Fluent Russian is mandatory.
• Good communication skills, able to work in a multicultural environment.
