Requirements:
1. Directly reporting to the Project Manager
2. Can manage all the technical aspects of the project
3. Prepare the report about the main project activities
4. Discuss/Coordinate with the clients the possible technical variations for the project
5. Experience in offshore / onshore construction yard
6. Must have an excellent knowledge with the International construction rules & standard
7. Well experience in Project Management team.
8. Fluent in English
9. Min. 2 years work experience as a Project Engineering Manager Below the main terms and conditions.

Work Location Kuryk Base (Kazakhstan, 70 Km from Aktau City)
Start As soon as possible
Duration 12 months, renewable
Rotation 75/21 (75 working days followed by 21 unpaid vacation leave)
Working days/hours 260 monthly (10 hours / 6 days a week, from Monday to Saturday)
Salary negotiable (net, free of tax from the country of work)

Mission:
* Manages project engineering activities in accordance with Contract requirements and project objectives for the benefit of the project including coordination and management of involved engineering
centers.
Tasks:
1) Defines the project engineering organisation charts, staffing and personnel roles with engineering discipline departments;
2) Defines provisional manpower schedule and controls the qualification of assigned engineering personnel;
3) Ensures the technical part of the Contract review;
4) Participates to the induction of the engineering team to contract/project requirements;
5) Provides instructions to the engineering team;
6) Ensures the issue ,the validation and the maintenance of the project equipment lists and / or other key engineering documents as applicable
to each project;
7) Ensures effective interdisciplinary coordination in particular through weekly meetings. Takes the necessary technical decisions in case of unresolved conflicts between disciplines . Controls that the engineering team properly interfaces with other project team members;
8) Supervises the issue of engineering deliverables and approves the key engineering documents;
9) Participates to project planning definition by providing engineering milestones and requirements;
10) Ensures that engineering activity is compliant with project milestones. Alerts project management in case of unforeseen variation and suggests if needed mitigation measures;
11) Ensures effective technical coordination with Client's representatives and as such participates to good communication with
Client;
12) Consolidates engineering budgets based on discipline departments budgets and controls it during the course of the project. Alerts the Project Management in case of variation and suggests if needed
mitigation measures;
13) Supervises the initiation and maintenance of project files;
14) Leads and attends the design and safety reviews and supervises the follow up of the outcomes;
15) Contributes to Project reporting for the engineering part (activities, quantities, budget, areas of concern);
16) Participates to contract management by initiating, collecting and consolidating the variation requests and change orders;
17) Participates to Risk management for the engineering concerns;
18) Ensures that the engineering final dossier is properly prepared and filed and that lessons learned for engineering are clearly identified;
19) Grant the monitoring of plant performance in order to capitalize experiences, gathering best practices and ensuring these are used and diffused at all Group Companies;
20) Ensuring the correct consideration and application of technological requirements in all project phases: from basic to detail engineering, construction and commissioning, up to the handing over of the plant to the Client;
21) Coordinating the execution of multidisciplinary engineering activities, managing the contracts assigned to the external engineering centres;
22) Ensure close coordination with the engineering teams of other engineering companies involved in the project;
23) Participating in the general planning and scheduling of the project, including the architecture of detail engineering outsourcing;
24) Identify areas of improvement for plant project and suggest technological development initiatives also proposing an appropriate partner;
25) Ensures project engineering close-out in accordance with the defined schedules;
26) Participating to contract management giving technical support to PM for variations requests and change orders.
