We work with a reputable Engineering Company that is based out of Western Kazakhstan who is involved in Joint venture activities with central European company in Western Kazakhstan and who are currently seeking for an experienced and qualified Project Finance Supervisor for their operations in Kazakhstan.
You will be involved in a project execution team for a new build Gas Plant.
Main responsibilities:
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Check/Control/Monitor progress on the project against the overall schedule, and advising Project Director of any significant deviations which could threaten the business objectives Managing the project variance and trend process (budget vs. spent analysis), project forecast etc. including a control (i) on the general cost development and (ii) on the cost of the PMC team (as a cost factor in the total cost of project) Review the progress reports submitted by PMC for all phases of the project, evaluate the percentage of completion and report accordingly. Keeping track of various milestones / reviews and keeping Project Director informed on deadlines. Through cost risk analysis techniques determine risks and recommend project controls, budget and associated contingency. Review the resources planning schedule in order to ensure that sufficient resources are available in PMC team and with contractors. Advise Project Director about the project changes in work scope and ensure appropriate planning measures are taken and changes in budget are approved. Responsible for verification of invoices, processing allocation of costs, payments and assessing change order costs for agreement. Prepare cost estimates for all project based activities and generate project cash flow profile as required for PEC level Support/Participate (selected) in commercial evaluations of project proposals during tendering process. Interface with PMC members to gather cost information to determine actual vs planned spent. Contribute to project proposals / project execution plans, including pricing and cash flows Take the responsibility for ensuring that monthly cost information is timely and accurately available to the project director. Control the reconciliation process with PMC during project close out phase.
Main Prerequisites:
5+ years of experience in the industry Ideal candidate should posses a relevant degree Be fluent in Russian and English, both written and oral. Have wealth of experience in Kazakhstan or knowledge of local laws and regulations. Ability to demonstrate appropriate technical knowledge. Have excellent administrative and Communications skills Oil and Gas experience will advantageous.
Work basis:
Location: Western Kazakhstan Work will be on either 6on / 2 off or 5 on / 2 off rotation or other if preferred. Additional holidays are provided by the company. Business class flights are paid for. Accommodation paid for.
