International Company is looking for Project Team Leader for long-term oil&gas project.
The location of the project is on the South of Iraq, near Basrah.
Operator of the project: Shlumberger Company

It’s a rotation based work, the shift schedule is discussed during the interview with each candidate personally, it’s possible to fit rotation period up to the candidate.
You will have all social package; your visa, mobilization, health insurance will be paid.

Main requirements to candidates:
- mail;
- experience should be more then 5 years in such position;
- experience in foreign oil and gas projects;
- good knowledge of English ( oral and written)

Description of main functions and responsibilities:
- In general, the Project Team Leader is responsible for the overall success of the construction effort. The Project Team Leader must successfully manage and control the field work:
• Define and develop an overall project workplan,
• Identify, track, manage and resolve project issues,
• Proactively disseminate project information to all team members and customer,
• Identify, manage and mitigate project risks,
• Ensure that provided products and installations are of acceptable quality,
• Proactively manage the work to ensure that only what was agreed to is delivered, unless changes are approved through a proper scope management process,
• Define and collect metrics to give a measure of how the project is progressing and whether the deliverables produced are acceptable,
• Manage the overall workplan to ensure work is assigned and completed on time and within budget.
• Establish strict quality control measures that require successful laboratory testing of materials before construction begins and at every new incoming inspection of new deliveries.
• Establish strict process management of variations and change orders.
• Control The Design & Build Contractor schedule and budget.
- The Project Team Leader must have good people management skills:
• Ensure that team members follow the standard processes and procedures.
• Establish leadership position to ensure that team will willingly follow your direction. (Leadership is about communicating a vision and getting the team to accept it and strive to get there with you).
• Set reasonable, challenging and clear expectations for team members and hold them accountable for meeting these expectations (this requires that you provide adequate performance feedback to team members).
• Apply team-building skills to ensure team members work together well and feel motivated to work hard for the sake of the project and their other team members.
• Daily interface with The Client.
• Daily interface with The Design & Build Contractor.
