in Functions:
- Technical Reservoir Engineering Assurance in support of Major Projects and Comprehensive FMs: to interface with and provide advice to Reservoir Engineers who are responsible for and own the dynamic reservoir model to interrogate and assess the validity/applicability of all reservoir engineering principles
- Coordination of reservoir engineering assurance evaluation between Assurance Group, Project Team, Upstream Reservoir Management Group and the operating companies.
- Provision of reservoir characterisation advice for modelling of reservoir recovery mechanisms
- To undertake dynamic reservoir modelling on existing models to check for validity and sensitivity to parameter and modelling variations
- To apply rigorous analytical skills to historical reservoir management performance analysis
Requirements:
- Expatriate
- Reservoir Engineering University Degree
- Minimum of 25 years hands-on, reservoir engineering experience applying classic techniques; performing dynamic simulations; surveillance programs
- English – fluent; Russian – basic to fluent
- Computer Skills: Reservoir hydrodynamic simulators (ECLIPSE, VIP, STARS, etc), Dynamic pressure analyses (SAPHIR), Well Deliverability (Prosper - Petex), Material Balance modelling (MBal - Petex)
- Mobile to work in the regions as required to visit site offices and operations, well locations, contractor service bases, business trips, etc.
Permanent place of work is Moscow
