As part of an integrated geophysics, geology and reservoir team, under the functional supervision of the Head of Geophysics:
• Updates the 3D seismic interpretation on the field
• Integrates the new well data into the seismic project (well to seismic tie)
• Performs reservoir characterisation studies with the assessment of associated uncertainties
• Updates the time to depth conversion
• Contributes to the optimisation of the location and design of development and appraisal wells, provides the seismic displays and prognosis depths for the well proposals
• Participates in preparation and supervision of special reprocessing of the 3D when needed
• Collaborates with the operation and reservoir geologists to ensure good integration of seismic with well data and the geomodel
• Collaborates with the data manager to guarantee a complete and reliable data base
• Interprets and contributes to possible upsides evaluation on the field
• Contributes to the preparation of results presentations to partners and authorities if needed
• Prepare and supervise acquisition and processing of well seismic (VSP)
• Make sure HSE concerns are properly addressed on day-to-day activities, especially when requiring or supervising data acquisition • Geophysicist with a good geophysical background (Master or PhD) preferentially at least two years professional experience
• Interpretation experience required including structural and reservoir characterisation
• Basic knowledge in acquisition and processing
• Familiar with seismic to well tie and depth conversion
• Able to work in teams and to adapt to the constraints of well operations
• Correct level in English required, Russian and French useful
