Reservoir Geophysicist

* Specialized higher education - Geophysical background
* 2+ years of professional experience
* Interpretation experience required including structural and reservoir characterisation
* Knowledge in acquisition and processing
* Familiar with seismic to well tie and depth conversion
* Able to work in teams and to adapt to the constraints of well operations
* Upper-Intermediate English

Responsibilities:

* Updates the 3D seismic interpretation
* Integrates the new well data into the seismic project (well to seismic tie)
* Performs reservoir characterisation studies with the assessment of associated uncertainties
* Update the time to depth conversion
* Contributes to the optimisation of the location and design of development and appraisal wells, provides the seismic displays and prognosis depths for the well proposals
* Participates in preparation and supervision of special reprocessing of the 3D when needed
* Collaborates with the operation and reservoir geologists to ensure good integration of seismic with well data and the geomodel
* Collaborates with the data manager to guarantee a complete and reliable data base
* Interprets and contributes to possible upsides evaluation
* Contributes to the preparation of results presentations to partners and authorities if needed
* Prepares and supervises acquisition and processing of well seismic (VSP)
* Makes sure HSE concerns are properly addressed on day-to-day activities, especially when requiring or supervising data acquisition
