This position is based in Russia. The Scaffolding Safety Supervisor will be involved in a large operator’s project.
Activities:
• Inspect and certify all types of scaffold including light and heavy duty scaffolds;
• Inspect and approve scaffolding materials before use;
• Review and recommend for approval all scaffold work procedures as provided by contractors;
• Provide scaffold appreciation training program on demand;
• Regular jobsite inspections of all crews in order to identify any unsafe work practices and unsafe conditions during construction works;
• Helps with the completion of project safety planning and hazard investigation with superintendants and managers on new jobs;
• Maintain a safe work environment;
• Providing health and safety training;
• Attending health and safety meetings;
• Oversee the safety program and initiate steps to improve the safety level;
• Create documentation of Process Safety Information.

Qualifications and Experience required:
Graduate engineer with minimum 5 years’ experience in oil, gas, energy or construction industry.
Good in English (speaking and writing)
Fluent Russian is mandatory.
Good communication skills, able to work in a multicultural environment.
