Big oil&gas company is looking for Scheduler - Shutdownsin Qatar.
Key Result Areas: • Initiates and controls all short/long term planning and scheduling of Shutdown activities. • Provides key support in planning and scheduling short/long term shutdown activities for offshore and onshore. • Co-ordinates pre-work activities to enable planned activities to commence. • Identifies and reports on opportunities and issues in the planning and scheduling of related activities and provides technical administration support as required. Ensures planning and scheduling of activities complement and enhance production targets and goals. • Co-ordinates follow-up actions as a result of unplanned shutdowns that require involvement of Shutdown Group. • Monitors and reports on maintenance and planning performance of shutdown activities. • Ensures the effective utilisation of SAP for the capture of accurate and meaningful data/analyses for continuous improvement in efficiency of planning and scheduling appropriate tasks. Provides SAP support to all shutdown personnel as required. • Performs all other assigned duties as directed by shutdown management.
Knowledge Skills and Experience: Bachelors degree from a recognised University/College in mechanical engineering or equivalent subject. Minimum 5 years experience as a Planner / Scheduler of activities associated with shutdowns maintenance, operations and materials in an oil/gas facility. Excellent written and spoken English communication skills. Strong multi-cultural awareness. Computer skills should include a working knowledge of a variety of technical planning software and maintenance management and materials software. CMMS experienced preferably in SAP. Knowledge of preventative and predictive maintenance systems, performance measures and their applications.
