Senior Contract Engineer Wells Construction and Procurement
The Well Engineering Supply Chain department in Supply Chain:
is responsible for procuring all Well Construction Services (e.g. rigs, directional drilling, wire-line logging, etc.),Well Installed Equipment (e.g. wellheads, Oil Country Tubular Goods, liner hangers, etc.) , Well Intervention services (e.g. hoists, cementing, well testing, slick-line, sand control etc.) for marine platforms land well location.
The accountabilities can be summarized under 5 headings: strategies, coaching and peer review, model contracts, project contracts, interface management.
- Support colleagues in managing a contracts portfolio of around 50 contracts with a combined contract value of 1,3 Billion USD.
- Support 3 drilling platforms and all associated services and materials.
- Support special project upon request
- Balance delivery on own contracts with other accountabilities on coaching, strategies, model contracts etc.
- Influence and coach non-direct report staff.
- Manage stakeholders to obtain approval for (sometimes unconventional) strategies or negotiated results
- Ability to balance long and short term goals
- Ability to work under pressure or within tight time-frames
Requirements: - Minimum of 8-10 years experience in developing and managing contracts, preferably in the upstream business either on Customer or service provider side. Experience in well engineering contracts is an advantage.
- Strong analytical capabilities
- Self starter able to drive change and improvement
- Excellent communication skills written and verbal in English and Russian
- Preference for demonstrable experience in structured staff development/ coaching and a general interest in people`
- Proficiency in Excel
- SAP knowledge is an advantage
- Preference for experience in developing and managing model contracts and standard terms and conditions.
